Each year, St. Thomas More School holds an annual Auction to raise money for our general operating fund. This event is run by a group of dedicated parent volunteers who work countless hours to ensure its success while striving to keep overhead low. The Auction is the largest fundraiser of the year for our school, and paramount to our bottom line: All proceeds go directly toward funding approximately one-third of the operating budget. Of that, 85% is money we rely on to help keep tuition affordable for families and also provides much-needed scholarship options for many of our students.
St. Thomas More School was founded in 1948 and is a non-profit, K-8 school serving 225 students. Our mission is to recognize and educate the whole child spiritually, cognitively, physically, and emotionally. Parents entrust their children to St. Thomas More School because they are assured of a strong curriculum delivered in a caring, creative atmosphere. We envision our graduates as responsible, faith-filled contributors to their families, churches, and to their civic, economic, and global communities. St. Thomas More has demonstrated its dedication to quality and excellence by attaining the highest level of accreditation through the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
Generous donations from our community are the driving force behind the annual Auction’s fiscal success, and we invite your gracious participation toward that end at any level you can afford us. Enclosed is a procurement form that may be mailed to our office, and we can arrange for a pickup of your donation through January. Please call us at 503-222.7442. All donors and sponsors are recognized in the Auction Catalog and online. Our 400 Auction attendees value sponsors, companies, and individuals who donate goods and services, and routinely make a special effort to support the businesses that support our fundraising endeavors.
We thank you in advance for your support in helping our St. Thomas More students become accomplished participants in the Big Dance of life!
Sincerely,
Laurie Hausner Rebecca Lang
