Spaghetti Dinner: A STM Tradition, 52 Years Strong

In 1973, Grandpa Frank Lemma, owner of Portland's LIDO Restaurant and proud father of three STM Bulldogs, had an idea: gather the neighborhood for a Sunday supper to help raise funds for the buses that carried STM kids to and from school. The whole community answered the call, filling the gym alongside local fire and police squads for a meal made with love.

Fifty two years later, that same spirit lives on through our Middle School families, who proudly underwrite the ingredients and decorations that make this cherished evening possible — and through the school wide volunteers who show up year after year to cook, decorate, and serve, turning the gym into a special place the whole community wants to be. Thank you for carrying the legacy forward.
