The 4th grade class learned several techniques in the use of liquid acrylic paints and liquid frisket. They first experimented on individual 8" x 8" canvases with the initial of their first names masked out for them. The focus of their explorations was to embrace the lack of control in a wet-on-wet application, resulting in gorgeous color washes and bleeds that they delightedly described as "fireworks".
